Abu-Ghazaleh Global’ and ACRLI to Disseminate Rule of Law Culture

BEIRUT - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), and Dr. Dr. Waseem Harb, founder of the Arab Center for the Development of the Rule of Law and Integrity (ACRLI), signed cooperation agreement to promote the rule of law culture in the Arab region.  

In accordance with the agreement, a cooperation network of Arab and international institutions concerned with legal knowledge dissemination would be established to include higher education institutions, particularly, among other relevant organizations.

The two parties agreed on the need to train and educate public and private institutions towards adopting the implementation principles of the rule of law and good governance for enhancing quality of performance.

Additionally, the agreement stipulates the formation of a steering commission that ensures achieving cooperation objectives and provides training services on performance measures in view of the principles and the standards of the rule of law and good governance. 

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global was established in 1972 operating out of its 100+ offices around the world in the fields of educational, professional, audit, accounting, capacity building and Intellectual Property services. 

The Arab Center for the Development of the Rule of Law and Integrity (ACRLI) is an Arab regional, non-government and non-profit organization, founded in 2003 by a group of judges, specialists in rule of law, lawyers and academics from various Arab countries. Its mission is to enhance rule of law and good governance in the Middle East and North Africa.
